Mixing and Covers

Oh hey!

Thanks for stopping by for another Sunday blog post. So, I’ve been getting into mixing and producing by myself a lot more lately. First off, it’s addicting. Second, it helps to be familiar and comfortable with the programs and tools that are used when you go to a studio for mixing. It also makes things much clearer when you’re telling your engineer what style of sound you’re looking for. Overall, if you write music, learning some production skills definitely helps. I hadn’t had any particular projects I wanted to focus on when it came to testing my mixing until a few weeks ago. I decided that I’m going to start uploading some covers every week on my Instagram and TikTok! I’ve got a few songs in mind that I want to get to and a few that I’m already working on. If you have any song suggestions for me, I’d love to hear them!
